Mommy's Birthday

Mommy turned 28 on Monday. We celebrated at Uncle Julio's in Allen. We even got some sopapillas for mommy's birthday. I love sopapillas!!

Marble Falls Christmas

The day after Christmas we left Sweeny and headed to Austin/Marble Falls for the Genella Christmas. We had lots of fun seeing family. Miller had more presents waiting for him in Marble Falls. We are truly blessed.
Wow!! My own basketball set!!

Just give me some bath toys and I am happy!!

Balls are my favorite toy!!

Sweeny Christmas

We spent most of Christmas with my family in Sweeny. We had a great time visiting family and friends, eating good food, and enjoying our son on his 2nd Christmas. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family!! Here are a few pictures from the week.

Christmas Morning
Miller and his tower of presents!!
He loved opening presents this year. Last year he slept through the excitement of Christmas morning.

Wow!! Santa brought us a lot of gifts!

Ready to go to the Christmas Eve Service at my parent's church. This is my favorite thing to do at Christmas. It reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas - JESUS.

Cousin Julia, Miller and Me

Miller with an egg nog mustache and his Grinch PJs. (Don't worry it is egg nog without "the nog" as my dad says!!)

Meghan, Olivia, Miller and Me!!

Miller is actually sharing his BALL

Miller and 2nd Cousin Olivia

Ok so this picture is random but our future football player had to try on Uncle Marsh's Sweeny Bulldog helmet while we were in Sweeny.

These 2 pictures are of my mom's UT/A&M tree. She started it when I was in college at UT but now that my brother is going to A&M she added some Aggie ornaments too. She actually keeps this tree up year round.
Hanging with Uncle Marsh. I think they were watching Charlie Brown Christmas. They both look highly invested in whatever is on the tv...it must be cartoons!!

Christmas Dogs

The dogs got in the Christmas spirit by sporting their winter jackets. Cosmo looks especially cute in his. I could not get a very good shot of Moose. As you can see she is not very photogenic but what she lacks in the good looks department she makes up for in sweetness!!

Zajicek Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my dad's side of the family the Saturday before Christmas. It was good seeing the Zajicek side of the family...and yes, for those of you who didn't know, my maiden name was Zajicek.

My family - Mom, Dad, Miller, Marsh, Me, Charlie, Myriah (my brother's girlfriend) and you can't forget Cosmo and Moose!!

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy and festive weekend. Friday night was Charlie's work Christmas party. Then on Saturday we finished up our Christmas shopping in the afternoon and then that night we went to our Sunday School Christmas party. On Sunday night we went with our small group to the Meyerson to see the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Choir present The Stories of Christmas. It was lots of fun. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Our Sunday School Party at Scott and Carrie's House. The girls did an ornament exchange and the boys did a white elephant. We had lots of fun with our friends and I left with a very nice, sparkly ornament!!

This is a random picture but I wanted to post it anyway!! We had some family friends send Miller this monster/dragon tent for Christmas. It is really cute but he is a bit scared to be in it by himself. Thanks Chafin family for the adorable tent.
