Family Pictures

I am finally getting around to posting our family pictures and Jack's newborn pictures. Here are our favorites. They were taken at Varner Hogg Plantation in West Columbia, Texas. We found a great photographer team - Joy and Daniel Davis...I actually went to high school with Joy. Here is their blog - Check them out if you need a great photographer in the Houston area!! (They are wonderful with kids!!) http://davisfamilyphoto.wordpress.com/

Snowing in Sweeny?!?!

It's very hard to tell but it is snowing in the picture below! It snowed off and on for most of the day last Friday but it never accumulated on the ground. It was the earliest it has snowed in the Houston area ever. I bundled up the boys so they could see the snow. Fun times!!

Thanksgiving Part Two

After the game on Thursday we drove to Austin to visit Charlie's sister. Cory just built a new house in Leander. We got to see her beautiful new house and spend time with Cameron and Mimi and Pawpaw too! Cory, Mimi, Cameron and Miller went to a 101 Dalmatians play while we were in Austin. Miller LOVED it!! Everyone got to see Jack and thought he has changed a lot since he was born. These pictures were taken at a park in Cory's neighborhood.

Thanksgiving Part One

We celebrated Thanksgiving in 2 parts. We ate Thanksgiving lunch at my Grandpa's house in Houston before heading off to College Station to watch the Texas vs Texas A&M game. After the game we went to Austin to celebrate with Charlie's parents, nephew and sister.

Boy it's hard getting a 2 month old and a 2 year old to cooperate in a picture! :)

Miller's 2nd Birthday Part 2

We celebrated Miller's 2nd Birthday Party with family and friends on November 7, 2009. Here are a few pictures from the party!! His actual birthday was October 28th but since most of my family (excluding me!!) are Aggies we had to schedule the party on a weekend that A&M didn't have a home game!! Crazy, huh!?!?!

Jack's Sip and See

Here are a few pictures from Jack's Sip and See baby shower on Novemeber 7, 2009. It was given to us by Belinda Meador, Vicky Thames, Heather Houpt, Tricia Williams and Joy Woodard. All of these wonderful ladies are family friends and have made a huge impact on my life as I was growing up in Sweeny and now they are a part of Jack and Miller's life too!!It was lots of fun! Everyone was excited to meet Jack.

Family Picture Preview

We took family pictures and Jack's newborn pictures this past Saturday. We took the family shots at Varner-Hogg Plantation in West Columbia, Texas. Here is the website with a preview of some of our pictures: http://davisfamilyphoto.wordpress.com/

The photographers are a family friend that I grew up with and went to church with my entire life. We had a great experience working with Joy and her husband Daniel. They were so patient with my babies!! I will post more once we get our CD!! Thanks Joy and Daniel!

Halloween 2009

We went to First Baptist Sweeny's Fall Festival on Halloween. Miller was dressed as a Monkey and Jack wore a skeleton sleeper. Miller had a good time trick-or-treating but he was a little unsure about all the costumes!! We are so happy because Daddy is officially here for good!! He starts working in Houston today!! Yeah!!
