Update on Jack

I am so sorry I meant to post this after Jack's doctor appointment. Jack saw a pediatric orthopedic doctor last Monday to have his hips looked at because his pediatrician thought there might be an issue with them at his 4 month check-up. We went to see the new doctor and had X-rays done but he said everything looked fine and normal. Thank you to everyone who prayed for my baby and for your many thoughts!! We appreciate them!!

Oh, When the Saints go Marchig In!!!

Charlie and his parents are HUGE New Orleans Saints fans. (Both of his parents grew up in NO!!) So you can imagine how excited they were that they won the Super Bowl. Charlie's parents came to Sweeny for Jack's baby dedication but also enjoyed the Super Bowl with us!! Who Dat!!!

Jack's Baby Dedication

We had Jack's baby dedication at our church last Sunday, February 7, 2010. It was a very special time for our family, as we made a commitment to God to raise Jack to follow Him!! We celebrated this special day with friends and family.

4 months old!!

We took Jack to his 4 month check up and here are his stats:

Weight: 15lbs, 8 oz. - 50-75%

Height: 24 1/2 - 10-25%

Head: 16 1/2 - 50%

So we have a growing, BIG boy that is a little on the short side right now!! ;-)

We have to see a pediatric orthopedic doctor next week to have his hips checked out. Our pediatrician thought his hip joints seemed a little off so she wants us to have them evaluated by the orthopedic doctor just to make sure all is ok!! We will keep you posted after his appointment.

Since he is such a big eater, we decided to try out a little rice cereal. Here are a few pictures of our 1st attempt. He seems to like it ok. But what a mess!!
