Julia's Baby Shower

My cousin Julia had her baby shower in Sweeny this weekend. So Miller and I made the 6 hour drive to Sweeny for the shower. I have to say driving that far by yourself with a 17 month old is not the easiest thing in the world but it was all worth it!! Jules got lots of goodies for Soon-To-Be Baby Audrey. We can't wait for her to arrive. Another playmate for Miller!!

Pagosa Springs, Colorado

So I finally got all the pictures uploaded from our Spring Break Trip to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We had lots of fun. We rented a house in Pagosa and Charlie, Marsh and Myriah drove to the slopes at Wolf Creek everyday for some skiing and snowboarding. We even took Miller up to the mountain one day. We also took several day trips to Durango, Colorado and did some shopping.

This is in Durango. Miller was fascinated with the horses.
Pagosa is known for its natural hot springs. They have several spas in town where you can lounge in the springs!! Although it smells like sulphur so it kind of stinks!!!

Miller's New Favorite Thing

We got Cosmo and Moose a new dog kennel a few weeks ago. Several times since getting the cage I have found this below...I guess this is Miller's new favorite place to hang!! He especially likes climbing in when Cosmo is in the kennel! His best bud!

Austin

My best friend Cheree had her baby shower in Austin last weekend. We had such a good time visiting with Cheree and we can't wait for little Molly to get here next month. I am already arranging Miller and Molly's marriage!! :)

Ok...so this is a random picture but I had to post it. It wasn't taken in Austin. It was taken at our Target in McKinney. Miller thinks these big red concrete things are HUGE balls. He goes crazy every time we go to Target. He thinks he is in ball heaven when he sees them!! Just thought it was funny!!

Playing Catch Up

It's been a while since I have posted any new pictures of my Miller. I know my family appreciates regular posts but I have not taken many pictures lately...bad mommy!! So here are a few random shots from the past few weeks!!

Also thank you to all that have been praying for the Maxwell Family. Manda is going home from the hospital today. Please continue to pray for her and send her prayer pages - 972-229-4207. I know it is a great encouragement to receive those pages. She has a long road ahead but she is one of the most determined and positive people that I know. We love you Manda, Aaron and Aiden!!

My Mom, Aunt Janice and Uncle John Ed came to McKinney on Friday. We had lots of fun spending the weekend together. We even took them to McKinney Trade Days!! Yummy Kettle Corn!!

Manda's Prayer Pager

FYI to all:

Many of you know that our dear friend Manda is going through a very hard time. Just 6 days after her baby boy Aiden was born, the doctors discovered that she had cancer in her leg. Now, two weeks later, they have decided to move forward and remove her leg and begin the journey that will include chemo and radiation. We have given Manda a pager and every time you pray for her, her husband Aaron or baby Aiden, please send her a page to let her know. Please don't put in your phone number, just type in something like 111 so she knows she was prayed for. (Make sure you press # key after you type in your numbers.)
