Mandy's Baby Shower

We had Mandy's baby shower at our house last Saturday. Yes, my house was actually clean enough to host a shower...for once!! :) It was lots of fun and lots of friends came to support Mandy, Brandon and soon-to-be-Baby Boy Cox!! Mandy and Brandon have not revealed the baby's first name yet so we played a name guessing game. Check out Mandy's Blog to see some of the guesses. After the shower my clean house went back to its original messy self. I told Charlie, "I don't understand how it can go from spotless to mess in 1 day." All Charlie did was point to our child and that explained it all. But we LOVE him anyway!!

Nice Weather = Lots of Afternoon Walks

We went on our 1st spring time walk last week in the double stroller. I bought this when I started keeping Hannah but we just started using it once the spring weather arrived. I will confess I bought it because it looked cool...supposedly you can move the seats around into about 5 different settings but I have only figured out how to do one!! It is very complicated and HEAVY...but I guess when you are pushing around 2 babies any stroller will be heavy. (This post is a little boring but I haven't taken many pictures lately. Sorry Mom...shame on me!!)

We had some landscaping done on the house recently and my Dad has been wanting to see the pictures so here are a few shots of the front. We took the bushes that were originally in the front and moved them to the back and added a few small trees. I will add some backyard shots later, Dad!! I think it turned out nice, definitely better than before!!

Easter Bunny

We got up early and headed to Frisco to have pictures made with the Easter Bunny. We got there before the mall opened because I figured all the last minute "crazies" (me included) would be out trying to get pictures with the Bunny. When we got there a line had already formed but we were only 4th in line so it wasn't that bad!! **Note to anyone that has not gone yet...when we left the line was getting VERY LONG!!! Here is the end result. Don't you just love the memories...even ones with BIG yucky scratches on the head!! :)

Just Our Luck!!

Look what happened 3 days before Easter Sunday!!! Charlie's mom got Miller this cute little travel size pillow with a matching pillow case for nap time. I put the pillow case on the pillow and let him use it during nap time...So yesterday he wakes up screaming after only 45 minutes of being down for a nap and this is what I found when I went in to check on him. The zipper on the pillow case left a HUGE/bloody scratch on his forehead. Just great!!! We haven't even had pictures made with the Easter Bunny yet!! Oh well I guess this will be a "precious"...or maybe "not so precious" Easter memory!! I guess I need to remember what the meaning of Easter really is - the day Jesus suffered and died for our sins and not worry about how my kid is going to look in a picture!! Happy Easter to All!!

Introducing...

We are happy to announce that we are expecting another baby in October. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow so I wanted to share the good news with my friends and family. We had an ultrasound done today and everything looks good. The doctor was even able to tell us that she "thinks" it is going to be another BOY...although she was unsure at first so we will have to wait a little longer for confirmation!! We will find out for sure in about 6 more weeks so I will keep you posted!! Isn't he the cutest little thing!! It's funny because I have been calling the baby a boy since I found out I was pregnant.

Julia's Baby Shower

My cousin Julia had her baby shower in Sweeny this weekend. So Miller and I made the 6 hour drive to Sweeny for the shower. I have to say driving that far by yourself with a 17 month old is not the easiest thing in the world but it was all worth it!! Jules got lots of goodies for Soon-To-Be Baby Audrey. We can't wait for her to arrive. Another playmate for Miller!!

Pagosa Springs, Colorado

So I finally got all the pictures uploaded from our Spring Break Trip to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We had lots of fun. We rented a house in Pagosa and Charlie, Marsh and Myriah drove to the slopes at Wolf Creek everyday for some skiing and snowboarding. We even took Miller up to the mountain one day. We also took several day trips to Durango, Colorado and did some shopping.

Pagosa is known for its natural hot springs. They have several spas in town where you can lounge in the springs!! Although it smells like sulphur so it kind of stinks!!!

Miller's New Favorite Thing

We got Cosmo and Moose a new dog kennel a few weeks ago. Several times since getting the cage I have found this below...I guess this is Miller's new favorite place to hang!! He especially likes climbing in when Cosmo is in the kennel! His best bud!
