A Few Words

Miller can say a few words...Daddy, ball, baby, doggy. I got a few of them on video(you may want to pause the music at the bottom to hear). I also got another video of him walking. He is getting faster everyday. I'm sure he will be running before long!!

My Little Red Nightmare!!

Wednesday morning was cold and icy. We had a frozen path and ice hanging from our roof. Charlie even went into work late because of the icy conditions. So I put Miller in this cute little red fleece outfit that I got for our ski trip in March. After getting it on it reminded me of the movie A Christmas Story. I know everyone knows what I am talking about!! It plays for 24 hours between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Ralphie gets a pink bunny suit from his aunt and his mom MAKES him put it on. When he comes down the stairs his dad says he looks like a pink nightmare. Check out my cute Red Nightmare!!

Do you see the resemblance!!??

Wagon Ride

What to do on a cold and dreary day with 2 babies??? Go on an indoor wagon ride. Actually, we were testing out the new wagon. We got it over the weekend. It is much snazzier (is that a word??) than the wagons of my day. It has a storage bin that can hold up to 10 pounds, 4 cup holders and 2 seat belts. The babies seemed to like it ok and Cosmo even hitched a ride. Maybe we will take it out on the open road when the weather is better. (Truth be told...I really wanted to get it so we can take it with us the next time we go to CANTON!!)

Sunday Cleaning

Miller decided to help Daddy unload the dishwasher and help me do the laundry after church on Sunday. He is a good helper. (Don't ask about the pacifier...he has not used one since he was about 6 months old but decided he needed one yesterday?!?!?!)

Helping with the laundry.

Look At Me Go!!

Even though I feel croupy (Mommy says to see the previous blog for details), I can still go. I am walking better and faster everyday. Take a look!! Love Miller!!

Miller and the Croup

So Miller started this horrible barking cough on Wednesday. It freaked me out a little so we went to the doctor and she said he had the Croup. I've heard people use that word before to refer to an ugly cough but I didn't know it was a real viral infection. So we have been at home dealing with coughing, runny nose and overall bad feelings for the past few days. It always amazes me that he catches things seeing as how he is no longer in daycare and around other children. I guess that is the one bad thing about not going to daycare, his immune system is not what it used to be!! Oh well, the doctor gave him a steroid shot and said he would be better soon. She did say that he could be contagious for 4-5 days...yeah!! Sorry no pictures to go along with this post...I feel kind of bad taking pictures of my son while he is miserable!!

Happy New Year

We had a wonderful 2008. I can't wait to see what is in store for our 2009. On New Year's Eve we went to the White's house to ring in the New Year. Let me rephrase that...we lasted until about 10:00. Miller enjoyed playing with Kinley, Kate, Noah, and Hope. We wish everyone a great 2009. Happy New Year! (By the way-I sort of learned how to play Nertz...although Kelly and I were really slow learners!!)
