It's a......

We went for our 20 week ultrasound today and found out that we will be welcoming another baby boy in October. Everything looks good and healthy. We are so excited and blessed!! I know Miller is going to love having a brother to play with that will be so close in age!! Our scanner isn't working for some reason so I will post ultrasound pictures later!! Yeah for BOYS!!!

Time Out!!

Since Miller has decided he is going to hit the terrible 2's at 18 months, we have been experimenting with Time Out. He has been in it enough to know that when I say he needs to go to time out he gets up and sits in the designated spot. The only problem is unless I sit with him he gets up after just a few seconds. So I don't think it is really working yet!! Here is a picture from Time Out!! Doesn't he look cute even when he is in trouble!?

My New Favorite Word!!

I got a video of Miller's newest word: BEVO!! It is really cute when he says it!! We are working on Aggie too!! Just to be fair!! :)

McKinney Relay For Life

McKinney Relay for Life was April 24, 2009 at the Craig Ranch Baseball Fields. Our team name was Manda Strong in honor of our wonderful friend Manda. Check out the Manda Strong Blog to read Manda's Story. Our team raised $2750. We had so much fun even though it was very windy that night. Many friends came out to support our team and Manda. We love you Manda, Aaron and Baby Aiden!!

Catching Up!!

After many hours/days of trying to get our computer fixed, we finally gave up and got a new one!! I don't know what we did before the Internet is all I can say. I went almost 2 weeks without blogging, email and facebook. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I guess I need to rethink my priorities!! Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks.

Mandy's Baby Shower

We had Mandy's baby shower at our house last Saturday. Yes, my house was actually clean enough to host a shower...for once!! :) It was lots of fun and lots of friends came to support Mandy, Brandon and soon-to-be-Baby Boy Cox!! Mandy and Brandon have not revealed the baby's first name yet so we played a name guessing game. Check out Mandy's Blog to see some of the guesses. After the shower my clean house went back to its original messy self. I told Charlie, "I don't understand how it can go from spotless to mess in 1 day." All Charlie did was point to our child and that explained it all. But we LOVE him anyway!!

Nice Weather = Lots of Afternoon Walks

We went on our 1st spring time walk last week in the double stroller. I bought this when I started keeping Hannah but we just started using it once the spring weather arrived. I will confess I bought it because it looked cool...supposedly you can move the seats around into about 5 different settings but I have only figured out how to do one!! It is very complicated and HEAVY...but I guess when you are pushing around 2 babies any stroller will be heavy. (This post is a little boring but I haven't taken many pictures lately. Sorry Mom...shame on me!!)

We had some landscaping done on the house recently and my Dad has been wanting to see the pictures so here are a few shots of the front. We took the bushes that were originally in the front and moved them to the back and added a few small trees. I will add some backyard shots later, Dad!! I think it turned out nice, definitely better than before!!

Easter Bunny

We got up early and headed to Frisco to have pictures made with the Easter Bunny. We got there before the mall opened because I figured all the last minute "crazies" (me included) would be out trying to get pictures with the Bunny. When we got there a line had already formed but we were only 4th in line so it wasn't that bad!! **Note to anyone that has not gone yet...when we left the line was getting VERY LONG!!! Here is the end result. Don't you just love the memories...even ones with BIG yucky scratches on the head!! :)

Just Our Luck!!

Look what happened 3 days before Easter Sunday!!! Charlie's mom got Miller this cute little travel size pillow with a matching pillow case for nap time. I put the pillow case on the pillow and let him use it during nap time...So yesterday he wakes up screaming after only 45 minutes of being down for a nap and this is what I found when I went in to check on him. The zipper on the pillow case left a HUGE/bloody scratch on his forehead. Just great!!! We haven't even had pictures made with the Easter Bunny yet!! Oh well I guess this will be a "precious"...or maybe "not so precious" Easter memory!! I guess I need to remember what the meaning of Easter really is - the day Jesus suffered and died for our sins and not worry about how my kid is going to look in a picture!! Happy Easter to All!!
