Pregnancy Stuff

So I went to the doctor for my 28 week check this past Monday. I started the appointment off with the yucky orange drink to check my glucose levels. Then I had to wait an hour and have blood drawn. While I was waiting the doctor informed me that she noticed I have strep B so now I am going to have to have antibiotics in my IV on the day of delivery. She also noted that at my last ultrasound I have a low-lying placenta. So I will have to have another ultrasound in a few weeks to HOPEFULLY rule out placenta previa. And lastly I got a call on Wednesday saying that I FAILED my glucose test and now have to come back and do the 3 hour test. I know this isn't that big of a deal except I HATE with a capital H getting blood work done and now I have to get it drawn 4 times in one day!!! YIKES. Oh well I guess this is all part of being pregnant!! :)

By the way if this is too much information for my fellow bloggers out there I am sorry. Most of the people that read my blog are a.) family, b.) friends or c.) fellow mommies or mommies-to-be!! So if you are grossed out by the word blood, placenta, or any other baby term please skip this post!! :)

More Swimming!!

More swimming at Mimi and Pawpaw's house!!

Miller and I went to Sweeny to visit my parents for a week. We had a blast hanging out with Gigi, Papa, Uncle Marsh and the Sweeny Crew!! Miller especially enjoyed the swimming, bubbles and popsicles. Then Gigi came back to McKinney with us for another week.

Welcome Baby Audrey

My cousin Julia and her husband Jeremy welcomed their first baby on June 20, 2009. Her name is Audrey Belle Lawrence. She arrived at 3:05 am after 16 hours of labor and a c-section. Mommy and baby are doing well. Welcome to the world baby Audrey. We are so glad you are finally here!!

6 Wonderful Years

Charlie and I have been married for 6 wonderful years today! I love him with all my heart. I especially love the WONDERFUL, godly Daddy he is to my beautiful son!! I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family!! I love you Charlie!! Happy Anniversary Love!!

Pool Time

Miller went swimming for the 1st time this summer at Mimi and Papa's big pool. His cousin Cameron is in town and they had fun swimming and splashing in the pool.

Miller enjoyed the hot weather this weekend by taking a dip in his mini-pool. We hope to take him to Mimi and Papa's big pool soon. (By the way-don't mind the blindingly white whale - me - in some of the pictures.) It is crazy how much faster you start to show with your second pregnancy!! YIKES!!

George Strait Concert

We went to the George Strait Concert at the New Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Saturday night. Charlie has been working at the stadium for about 6+months and I will admit it has been hard!! Late nights, long drives and even working weekends! But I will also admit it was an amazing sight to see. I am not a huge country music fan but who can resist the KING and QUEEN of Country music - George and Reba! The show was great. Leann Womack opened, then Blake Shelton came on next. Reba was AWESOME and then came GEORGE. All the acts were great live!! Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Celebration Park

We met a few friends at Celebration Park in Allen today. It has a really cool splash area and lots of playground equipment. Miller LOVED splashing and running through the water at the splash zone!! He had no fear!
