Baby Genella

We went to see a perinatologist today to do another ultrasound. About a month ago both of our boys had a rash on their face that was diagnosed as 5th Disease. It's not a big deal for the boys and they quickly recovered but it can have some negative effects on a growing baby. It can cause severe anemia in the baby which can lead to heart failure. This only happens in about 5% of all pregnancies that are exposed to the virus. I had a blood test run and it showed that even though I did not have any symptoms I had been exposed to the virus. So that's when we were referred to a specialist. Fortunately we found out today that the baby shows no signs of anemia so that is a PRAISE. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound because the anemia can show up 10-12 weeks after exposure so we are being safe and getting re-checked. Some of the ultrasound pictures were taken in 4D, which I've never done before so I got some really good pictures of our precious baby's face!! We think he/she looks like Miller!

Miller's 1st Day of School

Miller started Mother's Day Out at the Sweeny Christian School on Tuesday. He goes every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00-11:00. He is the only boy in his class. I'm excited to see what he learns this year and see what God has in store for my little boy! He is getting SO BIG!! I Love You Miller!

Jack really wanted to go to school but he is not old enough yet. Maybe next year!!

Baby G

We had our 20 week ultrasound and Baby G is doing great. He/She is growing and is healthy. Our due date is December 28th so we are 1/2 way there!! We can't wait to meet our little G and know our family will be blessed to have him or her!! (As you can tell from this post we did not find out the gender!!) Can't wait for DECEMBER!!

Beach Day

Living 30 minutes from the coast has it's perks. We can go to the beach whenever we want. No white sand beaches or blue water but it will do!! We took the kids to the Quintana Beach on Sunday after church. Jack fell asleep before we made it to the beach but once we got there the fun began!

Going to the Chapel - Vegas Style

Charlie's cousin Samantha got married to her high school sweetheart Bobby this past weekend. We traveled to Las Vegas for the wedding at the Paris Hotel. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and we had so much fun in Vegas even though it was INCREDIBLY HOT!!

Baby Sprinkle

It's an exciting time for my Mom's side of the family. My cousin Meghan is expecting her son Grady in August, my cousin Julia is expecting a baby in October, my cousin J's wife Erin is expecting a baby girl in November and Charlie and I are expecting in December. My mom, my Aunt Janice and I decided to throw Meghan, Julia and Erin a baby sprinkle/party. Here are a few pictures from the fun get-together!!
